I’m a coach in a fringe sport for the last 11 years. It’s obviously amateur, and not crazy popular, but I happen to hang out with a bunch of people who are deeply passionate about it. Recently, I’ve moved to Phoenix for the next 12 weeks to intern with Altis, a track and field team with great success, with a reputation for their willingness to share what they know.

More than a few people have asked me to keep them up to date on the whole experience, so this is my attempt.

The blog title refers to a book I recently got as a gift (thanks Chlolotte!). With proper investigation, this text contains many tidbits that fit so well in sports. As I’m exploring it, one day at a time, it felt appropriate to give my blog a title that reflects it.

Ultimately, I don’t know if I will be coming back to Montreal. This is my attempt to leave the team I coach with some of the knowledge I’ve accumulated, in case I don’t have another opportunity to do it in person.
